Running concurrently with Maison & Objet, Paris Design Week will transform the French capital into a vibrant design playground. With over 300 participating venues, from galleries and boutiques to concept stores and cultural institutions, the city becomes an open-air design fair.
This year’s Design Trail will guide visitors through districts such as Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and Bastille, offering a diverse range of installations, workshops, and product launches. A highlight of the week will be the Le Off exhibition, showcasing the experimental works of emerging talents and boundary-pushing collectives, reinforcing Paris as a hub for avant-garde design.
Materials and Sustainability in Focus
The materials theme for September 2024, titled “The Art of Reinvention,” will explore how designers are rethinking traditional crafts and materials through the lens of innovation.
